Don’t Look Mother

Monday, June 30th, 2003

An actual, unretouched panel from the 1967 Big Little Book titled Tarzan – The Mark of the Red Hyena. You have to admit that when taken out of context, you wonder what thoughts the Whitman Publishing Company was trying to place in the minds of our youth through these sorts of images.

Sherry’s Scion

Friday, June 6th, 2003

A WEEK AGO, we had never heard the term. TODAY, a spanking clean, white 2004 Scion xB is sitting in our driveway. ONLY AVAILABLE IN CALIFORNIA, Sherry is now the proud owner of the very FIRST ONE off the lot in Lake Forest! (Too bad for the rest of the U.S. who won’t see them until February, 2004 or later.)

Check out the Scion website.

Geeze… if this isn’t a mission statement with clarity and purpose:

Bring early certainty and greater confidence in predicted project outcomes by leveraging the network of cross-SBU participants and drive excellence in support of Industry Group strategies through…

– Consistency in execution
– Collaborating globally
– Commitment to people development
– Continuous improvement
– Driving change

NOW, lets see how they plan to do it!
